Message If Bosch is still making these things in Europe, they are likely at the floor before each unit loses them money and still can't compete.

It is a poorly kept secret that when european and american companies go to china to set up their own shop over there, the chinese have been known to build up a clone facility in nearby locations and even in some cases shuttled employees over from the original facility to train up the staff in the clone facility.

Not saying this is the case here, but europe certainly has protectionist policies vs North America, and that would leave enough incentive for Bosch or similar companies to stay at home and become completely uncompetitive and milk a captive consumer base.
